Here you can find out which data is processed when you visit the SOUND OF LEXI website. The information applies to the current website without analytics tools or embedded social media players.

2. Hosting and technical access data
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The service provider is Cloudflare, Inc., USA. When pages, images and audio files are accessed, technically required connection data is generated. This may include in particular the IP address, time, requested URL, browser and device information as well as security and error data. Cloudflare processes this information to deliver the website, keep it available and secure it.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional website). Cloudflare may also process data outside the EU, in particular in the USA. According to the provider, appropriate contractual data protection safeguards are in place, including EU Standard Contractual Clauses where required. The retention of technical data depends on the features used by the provider and their retention periods.

3. Cookies and local storage
I do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website and do not use visitor tracking. The content and icons for Spotify, Instagram and SoundCloud are displayed locally or included as regular links. Simply loading a page therefore does not create a connection to these music or social media platforms.
The website itself does not store any information on your device and does not read any from it. It uses no cookies, no localStorage and no sessionStorage. A consent banner is therefore not required.
Depending on the security features activated by the hosting provider, technically necessary protection mechanisms may be used. Should the website later add statistics, advertising or embedding services, this information and the consent management will be updated accordingly.
4. Music and own media
The cover images, portraits, the optional intro video and the short MP3 preview are delivered as files of this website via Cloudflare Pages. When a preview is played, the audio file is retrieved from my hosting provider; the technical data processing described in section 2 applies. External music players are not loaded automatically.
5. Contact and booking by email
You can reach me by email at [email protected] and [email protected]. The website has no contact form and does not transmit any data to me or to a form service. When you write to me, I receive your email address, the content of your message and any other details you send. Which further services process your email depends on your email provider.
Incoming emails are also processed by the technical service providers of the sender and of my mailbox.
I use incoming data to handle requests, for pre-contractual communication (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or for other business correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Data is generally deleted once it is no longer required for these purposes, unless statutory retention periods apply.
6. Links to Spotify, Instagram and SoundCloud
On this website you will find linked profiles and content from Spotify, Instagram and SoundCloud. These are regular external links, not automatically embedded third-party players. You only leave the website by clicking such a link. During the subsequent visit, the respective third party processes data according to its own privacy policy.

7. Your data protection rights
Where the legal requirements are met, you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it with effect for the future. To do so, contact [email protected].
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority under Art. 77 GDPR. For Lower Saxony, the competent authority is in particular the Lower Saxony State Commissioner for Data Protection (LfD Niedersachsen).
